#391 Tobi Pants

No niche of fashion is left out in Japan – even work outfits.

Tobi is the name for Japanese construction workers clothes.

The tobi trousers are a distinctive shape.

By that, I mean giant.

The pole construction workers used in the Edo period reminded people of the beak of a Tobi bird, hence the name.

I have no idea if these pants are more comfortable, safer or why on earth they are worn by construction workers in Japan.

But they look so cool.
