Narita airport is Tokyo’s other main airport – located in Chiba.
Narita is a little further out of the city than Haneda – but easily connected by various train lines, buses and express trains.
It’s around 60 km and an hour from the center of Tokyo.
On April 8th 2015 Narita airport opened a third terminal.
It serves mainly low-cost airlines and had many cost cutting measures – like decal signs instead of lighted ones.
The new terminal also has the biggest 24-hour airport food court in Japan.
