Pino is a classic ice cream treat in Japan.
It features a tray of small cups of ice cream with a thin chocolate coating.
There’s a certain novelty of using the small stick to spear the tiny ice cream piece.
This 30 calorie bite-sized dessert will celebrate it’s 40th anniversary next year.
They are a wide variety of flavors available – from matcha, strawberry and caramel to cheese (?!).
The classic milk chocolate is the most common and the only one to use 100% ice cream.
The other flavours use “ice milk” (I don’t know exactly what that means).
Either way, the mix box with individually wrapped pino’s is amazing.
