Afuri is a ramen shop from Kanagawa.
They started at the foothill of Afuri mountain in 2001.
They became well known for making a yuzu flavoured ramen – yuzu is a lemon-like citrus fruit known for being used in hot baths.
Their shops are like the fast-paced ramen shops Japan is famous for – the food is classy but the atmosphere is cozy.
You’re shoulder to shoulder with other diners watching the chefs do their ramen-magic.
They recently made their famous yuzu ramen in an instant noodle style:
The cup alludes to the mountain that the company is named after.
They currently have shops in and around the Tokyo area – Roppongi, Harajuku, Ebisu, Meguro, Azabu-Juban and Yokohama.
