#538 Afuri

Afuri is a ramen shop from Kanagawa.

They started at the foothill of Afuri mountain in 2001.

They became well known for making a yuzu flavoured ramen – yuzu is a lemon-like citrus fruit known for being used in hot baths.

Their shops are like the fast-paced ramen shops Japan is famous for – the food is classy but the atmosphere is cozy.

You’re shoulder to shoulder with other diners watching the chefs do their ramen-magic.

They recently made their famous yuzu ramen in an instant noodle style:


The cup alludes to the mountain that the company is named after.

They currently have shops in and around the Tokyo area – Roppongi, Harajuku, Ebisu, Meguro, Azabu-Juban and Yokohama.
